Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. This is Pear Tree Point Beach in Darien Connecticut. I grew up here. I got drunk and partied here as a teen. I skipped school to go to this beach. I kissed in the parking with my boyfriends. And, I escape here "still" to reminisce.
