Artist's Description
I am very proud to acknowledge and share that one of my ancestors signed The Mayflower Compact in 1620 on the long voyage from England to America. His name was Stephen Hopkins. He was born in 1581 and died in late 1644. He had three children. One of which was a boy who was born on the voyage. He and his wife named it Oceanous. I am so proud of my heritage. This is a composite of his picture and parts of the original Mayflower Treaty.
